As a tailor, I never try to tell people how great my service is or that my suits are luxurious. That’s because I am a consumer too, and as I travel Australia this month meeting clients new, young and old, I am being surprised by great service every day. I, the customer, am deciding what great service and luxury look like – not the hotel managers, restaurant staff or taxi drivers. It is me.
