My highlights of 2017
What a year of style 2017 has been! A year of some amazing bespoke events that are full of Apsley impact: the visit to Sahara Force India at Silverstone, welcoming Crystal Palace FC to Hong Kong, the amazing F1 drivers catwalk show in Monaco and the superb party with Paul Stephens Porsche that brings Pall Mall to a standstill. Now that is a party!
Visiting Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix and home to our friends at Sahara Force India was a fantastic experience. It was a thrill to see the team launch their 2017 updated cars, as well as catching up with the drivers. These behind-the-scene moments are the ones that remind me of how truly thankful I am to have such special clients and friends. But also to see the dedication and attention to detail it takes to make a successful Formula One team. That is reflected in every suit, jacket and shirt. How we are about impact and comfort than speed.
Welcoming the Crystal Palace FC players to the Hong Kong showroom was an absolute honour. The boys were in town for the Premier League Asia Trophy Tournament and also to present the Apsley Tailors Hong Kong Footballers of the Future Awards. I was thrilled that we were able to bring together the amazing sporting youth of Hong Kong and Crystal Palace players for this bespoke event. It is a day I will never forget and the new friends that CPFC made that day still enjoy the memory.
May 2017, saw us partner with International Formula One event organiser’s, Amber Lounge for the third year running. The Formula One drivers that participated in this amazing event which supported the Amber Foundation, looked fantastic in their Apsley Bespoke suits. Our suits make everyone look their best and with the sea as a back drop and drivers for models, it was an event that was in a class by it’s self for a charity that continues to make a global difference.
The final vivid memory of 2017 for me was the stunning and stylish summer party that was held at our Pall Mall showroom. We teamed up with Paul Stephens Porsche and Stock & Bailey Catering for the second year running. We hope to team up with them again in 2018.
