The pinstripe suit is coming back!
Classically known as the style of bankers and businessmen in the 19th century, the pinstripe is making a comeback in 2020. Initially, the widths and shades of a banker’s suit denoted the specific company that the individual worked for. Now, the width and shade is chosen based on one’s build, size and style. Narrower pinstripes make you look taller, whilst a wider pinstripe makes you look border and wider. The colour of your pinstripe suit plays a big part in the look. A classic black pinstripe is a good starting point if you are new to wearing the pinstripe and want to ease yourself in. A navy suit with a white shirt and contrasting tie is a great look for the office, whilst a blue with an open collar shirt is a more causal and summery look.
